Multiple Personality Disorder Afflicts USG

Boy, as the days of this pitiful administration wear on, and as the excuses fade away, the reasoning given to some of these blatant abuses get even more amusing. To wit: the VP says that he does not have to comply with an order that the executive branch submit to full oversight by a commission that ensures sanity of classified information because he is -- get this -- not part of the executive branch. But wait, did the VP not claim executive privilege in order to not classify in the Plamegate proceedings, or the Gonzales fiasco?

I guess the old cliche is wrong: if you are the Vice President of the United States of America in the Most Fascist Administration Ever, you can have your Cake and Eat It Too.
